Ravenna Garnet and Opal Necklace

This ornamental geometric design, from the 6th century AD, is adapted from a 600 AD disc pendant in the collection of the British Museum in London. Hand-crafted of gold vermeil, bejeweled with five fiery opals and four deep-red garnets, and enhanced by filigree and granulated details - the Museum of Jewelry reproduction includes a 14" gold vermeil chain. Pendant measures 1.25" in diameter.
