Yes. My CPU has a fan at the top. Is there space between the CPU and the bottom of the desk for ventilation? Yes. It is designed to have 2 inches of space already but you can lower your CPU down to create more room for ventilation up to the 20 in max height. My CPU has a liquid cooling system and is more than the 40 lb max weight. Will it still work? Is this just a guideline? The CPU hanger is attached to the bottom of the desk by 4 heavy-duty screws BUT if you have a heavy CPU we strongly suggest placing it on your desktop to avoid any possible issue. I have 2 CPUs. Can I buy 2 hangers and put them on each side of the desk? Yes. Each desk has the option of attaching the CPU hanger on the right or left or both sides with 2 CPU hangers.
