Mimicking the curves of its namesake by flaring out in the center, the Nelson™ Pear Bubble Pendant consists of a lightweight steel frame overlaid with a transparent, resinous plastic. Part of a series of lamps that George Nelson developed in 1952, this pendant lamp was inspired by a set of Swedish lamps covered in silk that the designer found to be too expensive for his own office. Suspend the Nelson™ Pear Bubble Pendant from the ceiling of your own office, entryway or living space to create a soft, ethereal steady glow and display an important conversation piece. The Nelson™ Pear Bubble Pendant includes a ceiling plate of brushed, nickel-plated steel and a 10-foot cord, is UL listed, and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included).
