Peace With God Based upon the finished work of Christ—“Having made peace through the blood of His cross” (Colossians 1:20). Received by faith in Christ—“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). Is this peace yours?—“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me [Jesus] ye might have peace” (John 16:33). “He is our peace” (Ephesians 2:14).
