The #1 killer throughout the entire world is … DEATH! In fact, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 150,000 people physically die every 24 hours all around the world and that works to be about “104” human beings … people just like you and me, drawing their last breathe EVERY 60 seconds. And most of them didn't think they were going to die at the moment of their death. It’s a very sobering thought to think about, isn’t it? Perhaps you know this as well as I do, that death is no respecter of persons … it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor or whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder in a promising career or if you’ve been unemployed for the last 15 months. The color of your skin—or how you were raised—makes no difference whatsoever; each and every one of us will pass through the door of death. And there is no stopping it! But more importantly, the Bible teaches that physical death is just the beginning. After we die, every person will spend eternity in either a place call
