Jesus First: A Personal Testimony

Jesus Christ is alive and well, and He loves you very much! On Sept. 25th, 1975, I was a lost unchurched agnostic. I had been invited to join a church and attend a Bible study. I gladly came, not to join the church, but to disrupt the Bible study and to make a fool out of the pastor. The pastor, a gifted evangelist, found out what I was about to do and used the Bible study to evangelize me! When the study was over, Pastor Kruger pointed his finger at me and said, “Clyde!! Jesus loves you so much, he would have died on the cross, paying your sin debt if you were the only person to believe in him. Seek forgiveness, and receive eternal life!” I bowed my head, with tears running down my face. I begged Jesus to fill my heart with his love! I desperately needed love and acceptance! Jesus answered my prayers and I immediately received the love, peace, and joy that surpassed understanding. I joined the church, and several weeks later prayed that Jesus would allow me to share my newfound love,
