The Gospel of Jesus Christ: Man's Problem & God's Solution (KJV)

 Man’s Problem God is holy, pure, and just and must punish sin. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). We are all sinners! “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). What we have earned for our sin and rebellion against God is death! “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). When the Bible speaks of death, it refers not only to physical death but also God’s just judgment and wrath against the sinner. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Worse yet, we can never do enough good works to outweigh the bad. We can never reach God’s perfect standard and earn His acceptance. “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6).
