These beautiful feve's and santons were found in Provence. They are all different. Each one is a small ceramic piece that has been hand-painted. Sold in assorted sets of 5 pieces. There are so many here that it would be impossible to choose so we have created the assortments. Each set is sold in a velvet bag. FEVE'S - The French word feve means "bean". Feves are baked into king cakes, or Galette des Rois, on the Epiphany. The French word fève translates to fava bean, which is what was originally hidden in the cake. Modern fèves can be made from other materials, such as porcelain or plastic, and can take varied shapes and forms. The themes of fève are very diverse and may include religious symbols, tools related to baking, or even depictions of famous figures.
