Clay glass from Capula - Handmade & painted

Clay glass made and painted by hand!  When it comes to decoration, the multiplicity of tiny dots printed on the Capula clay gives the designs a very unique and dynamic look.  It is a time consuming process, taking a long time to paint a single piece, and multiple days to go from clay to finished product as you need to prepare the clay, paint it, and bake it.  This specific piece is brought to life by Ms. Mayra & Mr. Juan Manuel Rosas Martinez, native artisans from Capula, Michoacan.
