Georgies' Tie-Dye glazes have remarkable versatility when using various thick and thin applications. Like their sculptural glazes, they are reactive and interactive with each other and with your clay body. High fire to Cone 6. Texture brings out the best in these glazes! They will "move and flow" so leave a generous foot and apply heavier applications at the top of your vessel to allow for flow. The clay body for the sample pieces is Georgies G-Mix 6, fired in electric kiln oxidation to witness cone 6. Color will vary when fired over different clay bodies or in different firing atmospheres.These glazes are all food-safe.
