Step 1 Knitting Class

Mondaes' Step 1 Knit Classes are the most stress-free, productive way to learn basic knit skills, and you'll turn out a wearable unisex neck wrap and hat in just one month! Our Step 1 Knit Class includes all supplies and instruction, within the following experience: Learn or refresh the cast-on & knit stitch on circular needles, and the basics of reading any pattern in Week 1 How to "read" your knitting and bind off in Week 2 Cast on refresher, learn the purl stitch and hat ribbing in Week 3 How to decrease and transition to DPNS (double points) as you finish your first hat in Week 4 Sounds like a lot in a month? You can do this! We keep it simple, and you're welcome to pre-purchase more than one month of Step 1 in any topic in a row. Most students enjoy up to 3 months of a Step 1 experience before moving on to Step 2.  Your first class includes a studio orientation that will explain how to utilize unlimited open studio time, so make sure you can attend the first class.
