Blue Bayou

Blue bayou popped into my head as I was spinning it. It was a slow spin because I wanted to capture all the various shade of blue in the fiber! It has vibrant cobalt and deep navy with sky blue and even bits of electric blue. The silvers and whites that sparkle like lights reflected on a soft flowing bayou as only seen in my dreams of southern states with busy cities and lively streets and then mornings on the bayou as the first spots of sunlight touch it and sparkle on the water. It is 136 yards of Silk, bamboo and 100% merino. Gentle hand washing in cold water with wool wash is advised to prevent felting.  Hand dyed and Fiber information and care instructions. For all hand dyed creations- Some bleeding is normal during the first couple of washes. But every care has been  made to minimize that happening. All hand dyed yarns have been gently hand washed and rinsed by me using a gentle fiber wash. For ALL fiber creations-No bleach is advised to prevent damaging the fibers and colors. I
