French Onion Soup Mix

A richly satisfying onion soup.Ingredients1 packet French Onion Soup Mix4 tablespoons butter1 large onion, thinly sliced1/2 of a 16-ounce loaf of French bread cut into 6 thick slices4 cups water6 slices provolone cheese Directions• Preheat oven to broil. Place bread on a baking sheet and put under broiler. Toast one side, turn, place a slice of cheese on top and toast until cheese is melted.
