Item Number: P72 Size: 9" (22.9cm) (Theresa, Therese) [1515-1582], foundress of the Reformation of the Barefoot Camelites, was a woman of indefatigable energy and breathtaking constancy of purpose in her work. Her writings are among the classics of Christian mysticism. Her forbearance for her enemies and amiability toward her detractors make her an apt patron of career women and of all women thwarted by prejudice. She was a loving, joyful woman. She is also the patron of headache sufferers and of Spain. Her feast is October 15.
