Shortened Soul

This is the latest piece in a growing series linked by a shared illustration style and loosely inspired by Mazzy Star’s So Tonight That I Might See.... While each work in the series stands on its own, they’re all rooted in themes I’ve been working through: disconnection, collapse, withheld expression, and the slow unraveling of systems — both personal and structural. This piece explores the quiet violence of silencing and the snuffing out of voices.
