The Gyuto is the Japanese chef’s knife, with a longer blade and gentle curve that handles everything from proteins to vegetables and anything in between. It’s a powerful all-rounder and the go-to knife for tackling big prep tasks. Each blade is made from Takefu Aogami Super steel, clad in stainless steel for protection, with a forged distal taper. Handles combine a CNC-machined brass ferrule with stabilized, locally sourced walnut for balance, durability, and timeless feel. Care Note Aogami Super is a high-carbon steel.
