Forged and handmade, these Laguiole table/steak knives have handles made from authentic mammoth bone and tooth materials. Rare and difficult to collect, these materials are highly prized in the world of pocket cutlery and presented here, for the first time, as table cutlery.  The parts of the mammoth have been recovered from the frozen ground of Russia, are stabilised before being cut into slices, mounted on our knives and then shaped and polished by hand.
