Evening on Spring Creek

This original hand printed lithograph is one of Monte's first. This image was inspired by a fishing trip in central Montana, this lithograph is unusual for Monte with it's soft focus and faded colors. In it, a fisherman and his dog fish Big Spring Creek, near Lewistown, during the fading glow of summer sunlight.
