Soft tressed waves of hair elegantly frame the face and meet at the back of the head in a bun.  Deeply set, heavy lidded eyes lie beneath sharply defined brows which gently merge with the well defined nose bridge, and sensuous full lips sit between soft, rounded cheeks. The shoulders and torso belong to another statue, likely that of the goddess Artemis, and could possibly date to the 1st century due to its high style.
