A brass triangle connector anchors cascading fringe strands of terracotta, blush, periwinkle blue, and deep navy seed beads — Miyuki gold bugle beads woven through each strand like threads of sunlight. Named for Las Mariposas — the Mirabal Sisters, four Dominican women who led the underground resistance against the Trujillo dictatorship. Their courage gave the world November 25th: the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
