Yooperlite Mineral Specimen - Fluorescent Rock from Lake Superior
Found on the coast of Michigan's upper peninsula, these Superior Lake minerals look like ordinary rocks until you shine them under UV light to pull their beautiful fluorescence into focus! Size and shape may vary, but they will all give you a beautiful glow! We do guarantee them all to be at least 1/2" and 7 grams, but we have some larger pieces, as well. The beautiful colors will shine just fine under any UV lighting, but we recommend using a light that is 365 - 395 nm and 10-20 watt for this particular fluorescent stone so that you can appreciate just how brilliant the colors are in this magnificent specimen. (For most fluorescents we recommend the straight 365 nm and anywhere from 1.5 - 7 watt). At the time of this listing, we do have 365 nm flashlights in stock and on our website available for purchase. We expect our shipment of 395 nm 10 watt flashlights to arrive later this week. Type keyword "flashlight" in our search box to view our current stock. These rocks look great displ
