Sphalerite and Iridescent Marcasite on Pink Dolomite

A fun locality specimen from Butler County Missouri. The Cane Creek Quarry unfortunately closed to rockhounding a few years ago due to vandalism. This is an old stock specimen. The fun little sphalerite "buttons" or "rosettes" were a large draw for the locality. You would also often see pink dolomite, white barite, calcite, and iridescent marcasite from the quarry. This specimen is ready for a new home! And will make some mineral collector very happy!
