Wolde Hirbe Natural comes from Wenago in Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone and represents a single-producer lot processed at the Adame Gorbota Cooperative. While produced within a cooperative framework, this coffee is handled and evaluated separately to preserve the identity and performance of Wolde Hirbe’s farm. Wolde has spent over three decades cultivating coffee on his 10-acre property near the community of Jemjemo, where careful field management and harvest discipline have made his lots consistently stand out. His work drew early attention from the Single Producer Project, a quality-driven initiative led by the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union(YCFCU) .  Since joining the project in its early years, Wolde’s coffees have been sold as distinct micro-lots, allowing quality outcomes to translate directly into higher returns.
