Amidst all of the big huge scary audacious life changing things we've been doing for the last few years, we've also been building many relationships, rekindling old ones and building new projects as often as we can. These projects are imbued with time, skill, process and a collection of artists that help us draw on our own tendencies but also to produce new things for other people. From a project that started seven years ago, to one that started one year ago, paired with a personal household ethos established when I was 23 years old, these cloth napkins have a long slow build that led to the most perfect hand-woven recycled cotton, sustainably dyed with flowers that have been upcycled from Indian temple ceremonies into natural dyes to produce, start to finish, a cloth napkin that embodies the ethos of reuse, reuse, reuse.
