Patuxent River State Park is a 6700 acre park along the Patuxent River between Brookeville and Mount Airy, MD. We have a $100k grant for Phase 2a, another 2.5 miles of trail heading upstream to Long Corner Rd on the Montgomery County side of the river. In addition, the state is building a new parking lot on Woodbine Rd that will accommodate 30 cars and 10 horse trailers. Both the new trail and parking lot are scheduled to be completed in 2025.
