My art objects are about life, passion and the wonders of nature. – Brejcha Born in 1942, Brejcha has been blowing glass since the late 1960s. A Kansas native, he did his undergraduate work at the University of Kansas, and his graduate work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In Wisconsin he studied under America’s renowned master of art glass, Harvey Littleton, along with Dale Chihuly. Vernon and Dale have collected each other’s work since the 1980s. Vernon is considered one of the pioneers in the contemporary glass movement. His work is in the collections of over 40 museums, including the Smithsonian Institute, the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York, the L.A.
