Russian Olive Bowl, finished with Mahoney’s Walnut Oil. The was turned from a large piece of Russian Olive wood, and features some stunning grain patterns and colors. There is a double curve to the profile, with slightly inward angled rim. This bowl was an experiment with finishing, where I wet sanded with the walnut oil, and the result is a silky feel and low sheen. It is 8.25” overall diameter, and 4” overall height. The bowl portion is 7.5” diameter, and 3.5” deep.
