The name comes from the Latin word ‘lapis’ meaning ‘stone’ and the Persian lazhward meaning ‘blue.’ It has been around for centuries, and its popularity still has not diminished. Today it is mined in the USA, Chile, Italy, and Afghanistan. Feather information: All our feathers are strictly screened and processed through high temperature and UV disinfection, safe, non-toxic and non-fading. All cruelty free feathers, collected after the duck/phesant shredded it naturally!
