Tuffy

Tuffy is an extremely versitile and hearty yarn from Briggs & Little, a family-owned mill in New Brunswick, Canada that uses fiber from both maritime Canada and Maine.  Tuffy is perfect for wooly, worsted-weight socks since it has 20% nylon.  But it also performs beautifully in sweaters, vests, mittens, gloves, scarves, hats and afghans.  Tuffy is a handwash product and it is suggested you use Eucalan to preserve the natural lanolin in the wool.
