Our castile soap is a truly luxuriant, extra mild and gentle liquid soap made from certified organic ingredients. No harsh chemicals, additives, colorants, sudsing agents or other ingredients, just pure derivatives from plant sources. Great for the face and body, or as an all-purpose wash, and it makes a wonderful base ingredient for your own soaps and shampoos. While it is not necessary to dilute our castile soap, many people prefer to dilute this soap for certain skin care recipes depending on their unique skin type. Traditionally castile soap contained olive oil by definition, but that definition is now outdated and the currently accepted definition is much broader. Our castile soap is made with organic coconut, sunflower and castor oils instead of olive oil. We found this new formula to be superior and less “slippery.” It also contains potassium hydroxide.
