Motion Guidance Vestibular Basics: Foundational Screening & Clinical Application (6 Contact Hours)
Course Overview: This 6-hour introductory course provides clinicians with practical, evidence-based skills for conducting foundational vestibular and ocular motor screenings using Motion Guidance visual feedback tools. Participants will learn to recognize key clinical patterns of vestibular impairment and efficiently integrate simple screening procedures into everyday practice. Emphasis is placed on rapid clinical decision-making, identifying red flags, and determining appropriate referral or treatment pathways. The course covers essential components of vestibular screening including basic vestibular intake and bedside tests, ocular motor assessment, identification of unilateral vestibular hypofunction (UVH), and gait and balance testing commonly used in outpatient and sports/orthopedic settings.
