1968-72 Chevelle GM A-body Lightweight Chromoly Steering Column 15-310 This bolt-in light weight chromoly steering column for a 1968-72 Chevrolet Chevelle is just the answer for saving a considerable amount of weight on your Chevelle. Simply unbolt your column, and bolt this piece back in. This column has been tested and works great whether you are using a bench seat, bucket seat, or aftermarket race seat. Uses factory mounts AND hardware for installation. This column comes fully tig welded. Included in Kit-Outer Column-3/4" Inner shaft-Retaining collar-(2) bushings. (Note: Uses factory nuts/bolts for mounting.) This column comes standard with a Motion Raceworks 5/6 bolt SFI approved quick release installed and welded.   Steering Box Connections: Factory Steering Box U-joint connects directly to factory steering boxes and directly to our column using a 36 tooth to 3/4" DD U-joint.
