The aluminum cap on the Mercury Trim Rod assembly has two holes however this wrench has eight holes for multiple position options. The trim wrench is made of steel with a black oxide finish. The pin assembly is made up of a 5/16-24" heat-treated Allen cap screw and has a 3/16" dowel pin pressed into the body. This design allows you to replace a pin if damaged. This design is made for our latest model Mercury 2 Stroke motors. Our Mercury Trim Wrench will fit the trim rod cap that has 3/16" diameter holes with a center to center distance of (1 7/32 or 1.218 ). MEASURE YOUR ASSEMBLY PRIOR TO ORDERING
