This whale tail box is crafted from Walnut wood I locally sourced. I turned the box on my lathe, and hand-carved the whale tail. It's great for keeping little treasures. The box is approximately 2 1/2" wide at the widest part of the box and 3" tall without the whale tail knob. The whale tail knob is about 2" tall.I finished the box with one coat of Tung oil. It's signed and dated on the bottom. Maintenance instructions will be included.
