Moonstone Studs

Moonstone refers to light-colored feldspar minerals that display adularescence (they color play as you move these beauties around in the light). I love how the colors in these dance around—they’ll move through the day right along with you! Set in 100% silver--ear posts and backings included. Moonstone Care: Moonstone has two directions of cleavage, so don’t subject these to high impacts—they may break (shouldn't be a problem when they're on your ears!). They aren’t water sensitive, unlike some turquoises, opals, etc., so no worries with moisture here. With a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, these are slightly softer than agates and quartz, so be cognizant of storing them in their pouch.
