Wool from the Suffolk and Suffolk cross-breeds, also known as Black-faced! Many of these classic sheep roam the Wyoming plains. They're used primarily as a meat breed but we love the wool as well. Recommended for outerwear and great for weaving. A very durable yarn that has a classic feel. Available in natural cream and select artisan dyed colors. Select colors are also available on 8oz cones for weaving. Specs 2-ply Semi Worsted, approx. 200yds/100g/3.5oz Yarn Type: Semi-worsted 100% Suffolk and Suffolk cross-breed wool Sourced, spun, and dyed at Mountain Meadow Wool in Buffalo, Wyoming USA Care Guide Alternate dyed skeins while knitting to distribute the color evenly. Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Let the fabric soak for 15 min, gently squeeze out excess moisture. Roll fabric between clean dry towels to remove moisture. Lay flat and shape to air dry. Gauge 16-20 stitches per 4 inches Suggested Needle Size: US 7 to 9
