This leather dog collar is made from premium, full-grain 8-10oz Wickett & Craig bridle leather. It is among the highest end vegetable tanned leathers in the world. Located in Curwensville, PA, USA, Wickett & Craig is known for quality, durability, and rich finishes. The leather is drum dyed in a range of finishes then hot stuffed with waxes making this leather smooth and flexible with a waxy texture on both sides. The leather breaks in quickly and gets even better with age.The hardware is high quality solid brass and the collar is hand-stitched using the traditional saddler's method with Ritza Tiger Thread in a color that coordinates with the leather. The edges are meticulously beveled and hand-burnished with Japanese Tokonole. The result is a beautiful, soft, and durable leather collar that will last a lifetime.Sizing: Take a cloth measuring tape or string and measure around your dog's neck.
