Rhodobryum ontariense MIX Tray -- Shade -- Exclusive! Waterfalls, Focal Features -- RARE species -- Check Back Later
Rhodobryum ontariense has been called Rose Moss (and there is another species named Rhodobryum roseum most often found in Europe). This beautiful moss resembles green flower blossoms in its hydrated state. The medium-green leaves form a rosette reminiscent of a tiny flower. The most important part about planting this moss is that it changes dramatically upon dehydration, so installing a supplemental watering system may be a necessity. In the Appalachian mountains, this moss grows most often at the base of trees or on top of rocks. Mosses should be planted whole in a shady, densely-watered location. NOTE: Other moss species such as Thuidium are intertwined with the Rhodobryum colonies. (Not pure Rhodobryum). IMPORTANT – READ before placing your order. NO SHIPPING TO THESE STATES!!!
