It was Mourlot's Master Printer, Henri Deschamps, who was asked to reproduce the original painting "Homme a l'épée" from 1969, again, under the supervision and approval of Pablo Picasso. These late portraits actually represent a psychological projection of a complex identity, illustrating the blend of influences and contrary personas that made up Picasso’s mental backdrop.
