Both galleries were located on the Rue des Capucines. Upon returning to Paris, after studying in London in the 1930's, Poliakoff kept painting in a figurative style. However, after meeting Kandinsky and the Delaunays, he developed his singular method and eventually became a leading abstract painter in the Ecole de Paris.  Ed. 2000.
