Gammera the Invincible

This sci-fi thriller, which marks the first screen appearance of flame-throwing uber-turtle Gamera, gets a simple but adequate presentation on DVD. Gammera The Invincible (note the spelling; the monster would lose the extra "m" in his future film roles) has been given a full-frame transfer at the aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio is in Dolby Digital Mono. In addition to the feature, this disc includes a bonus gallery of photos, posters and lobby cards following Gamera's busy career as a screen monster.
