Hatbox Mystery/Hollywood Mystery

Two black & white movies from the early part of the 20th century combine on this release. HAT BOX MYSTERY: Chaos abounds when Russ leaves his secretary in charge of his detective agency, only to return and discover that she has accidentally killed a woman. Entering into a race against time to clear her name, Russ must draw on all his detective skills to get the job done. HOLLYWOOD MYSTERY: Involvement with the mob is not to be taken lightly, as PR man Dan Ryan discovers when he fools a director into thinking he's about to cast a real-life mobster in a Hollywood film. Events turn nasty when some genuine mobsters get involved, leading to a tense climax to HOLLYWOOD MYSTERY.
