Kids 3 Week Party Dress Series

In this 3-week workshop, young designers will create their very own party dress! From sketching ideas and selecting fabrics to sewing, this class is perfect for kids who dream of designing a one-of-a-kind dress for the holidays or a special occasion. What You’ll Learn: • How to sketch and refine your dress design • Fabric selection • Garment construction and sewing techniques Schedule: • Week 1: Bring your dress ideas! We’ll work with instructors to refine your design and prepare for fabric selection, or bring your own fabric that inspires you! • Week 2+3: Complete sewing and finish your party dress with details and embellishments just in time for your special event! Materials: Fabric required by Week 1 (3 yards recommended). Instructors will provide guidance on fabric choices after designs are finalized. Skill Level: Basic sewing experience preferred.
