I first started working with Barbie in 1985 in Mattel's Samples Department. In 1988 I began writing toy fair scripts, videos, marketing skits, custom songs and other creative for Barbie at Mattel. My first email address was mrbarbie@aol.com and you can still reach me there.  This ultra rare Fashion Avenue Barbie is a Special Edition doll that was manufactured for Mattel in China circa 1996. She was manufactured as a Zellers Department Store of Canada exclusive. She is the Japanese edition and bears the Mackie head mold. Barbie comes wearing a fuchsia and yellow dress with flower appliqués. Accessories include white boots, hat and hairbrush. This toy is part of my personal collection and has been archived by me, Joe Galliani, the creator of the Street Sharks, and President of Mr. Joe's Really Big Productions for over two decades
