Dick found ‘Shaina’ as a witches’ broom in a large Bloodgood-type Japanese maple planted in front of the Department of Public Safety Building at the Villanova University and named by Billy Schwartz.If you plan on visiting the broom, which hangs about 9 ft in the air off of its “parent” tree, make sure to get permission from the University Police.
