The bamboo is polished off with a soy wax finish so these brushes are 100% vegan & cruelty free! This brush should last you a lifetime & then some! UPDATE: Brush comes with our new name & logo! “Love of Earth Co.” & will come with a sticker barcode. To remove barcode remove compostable paper label & apply coconut or olive oil to remove extra soap scum in the event that some is left behind
