RIZE Ferrofluid Display (Gold)

This GOLD ferrofluid really stands out when the light hits it! The RIZE is an amazing desktop sculpture containing a strange liquid called ferrofluid which becomes highly magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field and forms spikes and other organic shapes. We created the RIZE to showcase these characteristics by using a large paramagnetic machined center screw and a detachable magnetic base to cause the fluid to spike, spin and rise up in a mesmerizing blend of art and science. Recommended for ages 16+ due to glass construction and strong magnets.
