The 40* base plate is designed for higher speeds and cleaner slides. They feature a raked hanger which gives you a good amount of carve and leverage, as well as a deep bushing seat for stability and restrictiveness. Faced hangers and clean casting make for a smooth ride and slick look as you glide by your friends. Stealthy and low slung, grab a set and go faster with more confidence. The lower degree causes the truck to sit lower, so use a .25" riser to prevent wheel bite!
