What makes a tea towel a tea towel? Good question! I think their rectangular shape make them ideal for lining tea trays....hence the name. These tea towels are mostly cotton and have a polyester stitch. They are absorbent and have a handy loop for hanging. Great for the kitchen or bathroom. They are a top seller and make a lovely host gift.  Inspired by traditional shibori techniques, each tea towel is folded and rubber banded to reveal a striped pattern once dipped in the dye vat. Pattern style and dye intensity are varied.
