The history of the jewelry The Urn-style brooch from the Viking Age dates back to approximately the year 1000 and was found on Bejsebakken in Aalborg. The brooch features a Christian motif from the end of the Viking Age, depicting the battle between a "big animal" and a snake, symbolizing the eternal struggle between good and evil forces. This theme is depicted through an elegant network design that intertwines with each other. The urn-style of the brooch is named after the Urnes stave church in Norway, where similar animal motifs can be seen on the church's wooden portal.
